Hangzhou's tires now available in Serbia
Long-lasting and silent Westlake tires produced by Chinese giant Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber are now available in Serbia in more than 100 different sizes and profiles, and for a number of uses. These tires are up to 40 percent cheaper than the products of other global tire makers.
As it was announced today by the representative of the Chinese company, Koning, these tires are primarily intended for commercial vehicles - trucks and buses.
Hangzhou is the number one tire maker in China and one of the top ten tire manufacturers in the world. The company employs in excess of 20,000 workers and annually produces over 20 million tires for cars and SUVs, around 10 million radial tires for trucks and buses, and 200,000 tires for offroad vehicles and agricultural machinery.
Hangzhou also produces more than four million diagonal tires for trucks and as many 80 million tires for motorcycles and bicycles. The company plans to sell over USD 8 billion worth of goods this year, six million of which should be generated from the exportation to markets around the world.
The Chinese company works with more than 10,000 distributors worldwide. Belgrade-based Koning has recently joined Hangzhou's pool of suppliers and, thus, got an exclusive right of sale in the markets of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
