Cookie which survived Titanic’s sinking was sold this weekend at the auction in London for 15.000 pounds (EUR 21.000).

As BBC reports, apart from the fact that deadline expired long time ago, cookie became the most expensive cookie in the world.

103 years old, biscuit was found in the survival kit at one of the life boats at the famous cruiser which sink in 1912 in Atlantic after it hit the ice rock.

The cookie was saved by James Fenvick, a passenger at Carpathia which came for help to the victims. A witness of a horrible scene kept intact biscuit in an envelope.

A small relic where producer’s name is still visible was sold to a Greek collector who wanted to remain anonymous.

The photo of ice rock which one of the passengers made after the ship hit it was sold at EUR 29.000 although its authenticity was not confirmed.
