In late March, the business portal eKapija will hand out the Aurea award for the investment of the year in Serbia for the tenth year in a row, and 8 projects have been shortlisted, ranked by 3 criteria: innovation, social usefulness and financial potential. An expert jury will select the winner, and visitors of aurea.rs can also vote online beginning today.
The Aurea 2018 finalists are:
– MOTIMOVE – Device for movement assistance to disabled persons
– Algo Tehnology – Products based on brown sea algae extract
– Playerhunter – Social network for football players
– KOOZMETIK – Natural cosmetics
– Solagro – Interactive recycling presses
– Lafarge houses

– WIG – Automated system for preparation of brine
– In the time when the market changes increasingly faster and the competition grows stronger and more global, innovations are a beacon on the road to success. Great interest and a large number of applications in Aurea's anniversary year show that investments in innovative projects are needed more than ever. I invite our readers to learn about these eight inspirational stories which have been shortlisted and to vote – says Editor-in-Chief of eKapija, Milica Milosavljevic.
Voting on the award's official page will last until March 22, and the final decision will be made by the expert jury consisting of: Dejan Eric, professor at the Belgrade Banking Academy, Dusan Tomic, partner at KPMG, Marinko Ukropina, director of SGS Beograd, Natasa Kecman of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Vojin Senk, professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, and Vladimir Medan, member of the Board of Directors of the Deposit Insurance Agency.
In addition to the main Aurea 2018 award, eKapija will also hand out two special acknowledgments for innovation and social usefulness.
