Colliers International, Serbia, the leading international real estate services provider in Serbia, has announced that Maja Sahbaz is the new General Manager.
Colliers International, Serbia was the first international real estate services provider to enter the Serbian market after the political changes of November 2000. Its projects include such landmark achievements as Serbia’s first business park (Airport City Belgrade), Serbia’s first logistics park (with IIG), and Serbia’s first international shopping mall (Delta City).
Maja joined Colliers International in 2004, and since then has gained a strong working knowledge of all the company’s activities and procedures on a local as well as a regional level. During this time she built up extensive experience in many aspects of co-operation with both international and domestic clients. While working with investors, Maja had a detailed insight into the whole process from the first architectural plans to tenants moving in. Since becoming General Manager, she has been pro-actively working on improving office structure and procedures, while creatively implementing her knowledge and company experience. Maja’s vision is to assist Colliers in maintaining its leadership position in the Serbian market through continuous education and specialization of employees and excellent client service.
Jovica Jakovac, Managing Director of Colliers International, Serbia, said, “Maja has played an influential and innovative role for us over the last few years and we are delighted that she now has this critical leadership position. And I know that our clients will be delighted to see her rewarded for her excellent work.”
Maja Sahbaz, General Manager of Colliers International, Serbia, added, “I’m honored to be able to continue my professional career in this position in a company which is a market leader in the industry and in whose core values I have strongly believed since day one.”
Philip Bay, Regional Director, Colliers International, Southeast Europe, concluded, "We have a fantastic leadership team in Serbia that I know will build on our current successes to deliver ever greater achievements. With our team's experience and know-how our clients know that they will receive the finest advice and best-quality services in the country."
Colliers International, Southeast Europe was named Property Consultant of the Year for the region in 2008 for the third straight year. It has eleven offices in six countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Serbia, and performs selected assignments in Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, FYR of Macedonia, and Cyprus.
Colliers International, Southeast Europe currently has 3,000,000 m2 of projects under exclusive representation. It is bigger than all three of its nearest competitors put together, and has averaged growth of 69% in the last five years per annum.
Colliers International is a worldwide affiliation of independently owned and operated companies.
