Bor to let state use its airport as well

The mayor of Bor, Aleksandar Milikic, has stated that he has received a memo from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia proposing to let the state manage the Bor airport.

– This is very good for us and the best way to put this airport into operation. I am sure that, “under the wings” of the Airports of Serbia, the Bor airport will have a good perspective – Milikic said.

He added that he expected the state to make investments in the airport in the upcoming years and for a decision to be made to let the state manage the airport at one of the upcoming sessions of the City Assembly.

So far, the Bor airport has been used for sporting flights and the landing of smaller aircraft exclusively.
