– The new Sava bridge will replace the old one and have four traffic lanes and two lanes for trams, so a total of six instead of the current two. Furthermore, it will have bicycle lanes and wide sidewalks – he said on TV Happy and added that the construction of this bridge will unload Branko’s Bridge and the Gazela Bridge, and the construction of the City Tunnel, which will begin at the Faculty of Economics, go beneath Lomina Street and end in Despota Stefana Blvd, almost near the Pancevo Bridge, will contribute to its use.
According to him, the construction of this tunnel will reduce the traffic in the city center by around 12% and considerably reduce the pollution.
– At the same time, we are looking at works on the New Belgrade side, that is, an expansion of the Zemun Road into a street with four lanes and the construction of three roundabouts on all the intersections around the Usce Trade Center – Vesic said.

Vesic said that he expected the agreement on the construction of another bridge, on the Danube near Ada Huja, to be signed.
– When that bridge is done, it will be part of our internal bypass route which connects the Ada Ciganlija Bridge and the Ada Huja Bridge by four-lane boulevards, and it will enable the Pancevo Bridge to be finally reconstructed – Vesic said, as reported by Beoinfo.
