Its eye-catching frame features a space you can step through and fits perfectly into the category of electric mopeds with its big tires and centrally installed electric engine, linked with the pedal-based drive. In fact, this moped looks so good that it even reminds of a recently presented electric motorcycle – Fantic Issimo. As things stand, Yamaha seems to have established a partnership with the company Fantic, which has resulted in Issimo finding its way to Yamaha’s stage, carrying a new Yamaha tag, reports Tech-Lifestyle.
Electric bicycles for gravel, roads and mountains
Yamaha has also presented three electric bicycles in the categories of bicycles for gravel, road/commute and mountain bicycles.
The bicycle for riding on gravel is Yamaha Wabash RT, and the bicycle for commuting is Yamaha CrossCore RC. Both bicycles have the same medium drive engine of 500 W, developed by Yamaha, and the same battery of 500 Wh. The third one, the electric mountain bicycle, with full suspension, seemed to have been masked into a kind of digital camouflage.
Although at the Yamaha Motor Europe team they presented it as a new model, it is perhaps new only to Europeans, because it bears an uncanny resemblance to the Yamaha YDX Moro model. That e-bicycle uses an innovative wishbone frame, which conceals the rear suspension inside a two-part upper pipe. It is a smart way of increasing the suspension travel, while at the same time saving a lot of space for the battery.
Equivalents of electric scooters of 50 cc and 125 cc
The Yamaha E01 concept has finally been launched, as has been the new NEOS. Another NEOS scooter has also been presented, next to the successor of the E01 model, but detailed technological specifications for these two models have not been provided.
