In Serbia, as part of the eGovernment, new digital services are to start operating, that is, 27 services within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Mining and Energy, primarily in the field of renewable energy sources, which will also enable, for companies, a more efficient obtaining of the necessary permits and approvals in the fields of energy and environmental protection, the ministry announced.

The promotion of the new digital services was attended by the minister of mining and energy, Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, and the minister of environmental protection, Irena Vujovic, as well as the president of the EBRD, Odile Renaud-Basso.

– By carrying out the auctions for market premiums from RES, we have shown that we can carry out complex procedures in a fully digitized and transparent way, but it is equally important for us to also apply it to other procedures which are important for the economy and investors – the minister emphasized.

She pointed out that digitization would enable quick communication with state organs and that it would no longer take days, sometimes weeks, for memos and submissions to be delivered and that it would be done automatically instead.
