The project of the construction of the tri-generation plant for the supply of heat, cooling and electricity to facilities within Spatial Plan of the Special-Purpose Area of the National Football Stadium envisages the construction of a tri-generation plant for the supply of heat, cooling and electricity based on the production of electrical energy in gas turbines. Three turbines with a capacity of 5 MW each are planned, either as two operating ones and one spare one, or with a maximum output of 10 MWe toward the operator of the distribution system.
The system for the production of heating energy is planned for a total consumption of 52 MW, and the system for the production of cooling energy for 46 MW. The turbo-generation and boiler facility is planned for operations with natural gas as the principal fuel and gas oil as the backup fuel.
The deadline for applying for the tender is August 22, and more details (in Serbian) can be found HERE.
Let us remind that, recently, the company Energotehnika-Kuzna Backa, along with another 38 subcontractors, has been entrusted with the job of the construction of a tri-generation plant for the supply of heat, cooling and electricity to facilities within Spatial Plan of the Special-Purpose Area of the National Football Stadium. The value of the contract is slightly under RSD 18 billion without the VAT, that is, around EUR 153 million.
The companies which won the contract are the only ones to send a bid in response to the tender that the PUE Belgrade Power Plants opened at the end of April.
The new plant will heat the objects in the EXPO 2027 complex, namely: the Expo 2027 fairgrounds (17 MW), the National Stadium (10 MW), a shopping mall of 100,000 m2 (7 MW), accompanying accommodation facilities of 165,000 m2 (10 MW), a children's institute and a school covering 6,500 m2 (0.5 MW), a hotel of 16,000 m2 (1.5 MW) and an Aquatics Center (6 MW).
