Profit of EPS RSD 30 billion in nine months, three times as low as last year

Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) spent RSD 43.4 billion for the purchase of electricity in the first nine months of this year, whereas in the same period last year, it spent around RSD 25 billion for the purchase of electrical energy. While 10% more electricity was purchased from the preferred producers of electricity from RES, in the market, three times as much was purchased than last year.

In the first three quarters, EPS realized a net profit of around RSD 30 billion, as shown by the financial report, whereas, in the same period last year, the profit was three times as big, amounting to RSD 94 billion.
