New chocolate factory in Žbevac village near Bujanovac to produce candies worth about 20m EUR on annual basis

Serbian Minister of Economy and PRivatization, Predrag Bubalo, opened, on May 31, 2006, the new factory of chocolate and chocolate desserts of the confectionery industry "Kondiva" in Žbevac village near Bujanovac.

The capacity of the factory, in two-shift work, is 5,200 tons of ready-made products on annual basis, whereas the value of annual scope of production will amount to 20m EUR.

In the newly opened factory, Vranje-based company "Simpo" and business partner from Italy invested 3m EUR. It has been built for three years and, in addition to present 120 "Kondiva's" employees, it will employ another 70 workers from the territory of Bujanovac and surrounding undeveloped villages.
