Construction of New University Clinical Center Kragujevac to Begin in Summer – Here’s What It Will Look Like (PHOTO)

The construction of a new building of the University Clinical Center Kragujevac, as well as the reconstruction of the existing facilities, should begin in the summer of 2024, Slobodan Milosavljevic, the director of this health institution, says for RTK.

The plan of the Ministry of Health is for the project to get the building permit in February and for the tender for the execution of the works to be published in March., whereas the construction works would begin in the second half of next year, the state secretary at the Ministry of Health, Aleksandar Milosevic, announced earlier.

The new building of the University Clinical Center will have nine floors.

The urban project of the reconstruction of the existing facility of the University Clinical Center in Kragujevac and the construction of the new one envisages the forming, out of the new facilities, of the Clinical Center building with an area of 25,000 m2 and an aboveground outdoor garage with 300 parking spaces, whereas everything else is to be reconstructed.

Let us remind that, in mid-2023, the minister of health of Serbia, Danica Grujicic, and representatives of the company AG Institut doo Novi Sad signed the agreement according to which the activities on the construction and reconstruction of the University Clinical Center Kragujevac were to begin.

The subject of the agreement is the preparation of the technical documentation for the purposes of the construction, extension and reconstruction of the University Clinical Center of Kragujevac, which will encompass an area of around 22,000 m2 when it comes to the construction of new facilities and around 14,000 m2 when it comes to the extension and reconstruction of the existing ones.

The agreed value is RSD 85.7 million with the VAT.
