Maja Šahbaz - the General Manager of Colliers in Serbia

Maja Sahbaz was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1981. She graduated from Faculty of Filology, University of Belgrade. Maja received a scholarship from the Japanese Government which enabled her to spend time in Japan during 2002, after which she received her BA in Japanese language and literature in 2003.

Ms. Sahbaz joined Colliers, an international real estate consultancy company in 2004. During the coming years, she specializes in management, structural organization and company’s operations thanks to the company’s internal employee education system, Colliers University.

In 2008 Maja became the General Manager of Colliers in Serbia.

Owing to her keen interest in green building, Maja joined the team within Colliers whose one of main goals was to educate clients as well as employees about importance of this practice in building and other processes. She is currently preparing for the LEED Green Associate exam.

She was a member of MENSA since 2001, and currently she is a member of Rotaract Club Belgrade Center.

In her spare time she is interested in animals’ wellbeing and protection, sports and literature.

She fluently speaks English and Japanese language.
