On the occasion of the celebration of UNICEF’s 75th anniversary, a special collection of unique digital tokens, also known as NFT (non-fungible tokens) is presented at the O3ONE gallery. The exhibition is open until December 19 at the gallery’s premises and online, on their
webpage.
Simultaneously, an online auction in cryptocurrencies on the Ethereum blockchain is starting. The auction is organized with the expert support of ECD and MVP Workshop. The initial price of each NFT is 1 Ethereum. The online auction is taking place on the page linked above.
All the proceeds from the sale of unique digital tokens will be used for the procurement of assistive technology which helps children with developmental problems to increase their skills, UNICEF says in a press release.
The auction will feature 15 NFTs with special photo-moments from the sports careers of the UNICEF national ambassadors in Serbia – Ana Ivanovic and Aleksandar Sasa Djordjevic, as well as adapted murals by artists gathered around the Runaway Foundation, run by Andrej Josifovski – Pijanista, and motifs from the successful video games from the local scene, provided in cooperation with the Serbian Gaming Association (SGA). The whole exhibition can also be viewed

A unique digital token is an original, unique, unreplaceable digital property recording saved on the blockchain network. The ownership of an NFT token is ascribed to the cryptoaddress where the token is located, and the data such as the price, the history of the transaction and the ownership remain forever saved and available on the blockchain network.
