New apartments and office space in Novi Sad – Galens to start building Pupin's Palace
(Future look of Pupin's Palace) Just like the major European capitals, Novi Sad will soon boast an exclusive and unique edifice, perfectly fitting into its old city core. The construction company Galens from Novi Sad will soon start building a residential and business facility called Pupin's Palace in Narodnih Heroja St.
The facility will consist of apartments and office space and won't in any way disrupt its environment.
Pupin's Palace has been envisioned as the first office space of its kind in Novi Sad, modeled after the best office buildings in Europe and elsewhere. The office space has been designed in line with the latest requirements of the market and future users, as an open space allowing for maximum flexibility in personalization, depending on the requirement of a given activity.
Pupin's Palace, designed as a highly energy efficient facility in line with the LEED standard, enables maximum reduction of fiscal expenses and provides a possibility of creating a perfect working environment, including central heating, air conditioning and ventilation through the latest VRF system, Galens says.
The facility will be located in close proximity to the most important public, business and trade, sports and recreation and cultural institutions. The future modern edifice will be connected to Zmaj Jovina Street by an underground passage and will be only a few hundred meters away from Gradska Kuca, the Serbian National Theater, the Name of Mary Church (popularly known as “the cathedral”), and 300 meters away from Dunavska Street and Saint George's Cathedral, Galens says.
The design envisions three underground levels of garage space with around 400 parking spots. As well, a section of the parking lot will also serve as a public garage, which will facilitate parking in the center of Novi Sad.
– As a socially responsible company, Galens has taken into consideration environmental, construction and cultural protection and secured the surrounding buildings through civil engineering methods. In order to maintain the city's cultural heritage, under supervision of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the City of Novi Sad, the entire stone facade of the former Kommunalis Bank, which was located on the ground where the future facility is to be raised, will be restored – Galens explains.
As well, Galens has taken special care in treating the cultural heritage of the Armenian community, consisting of a church and other monuments located nest to the plot of land in question, by securing total protection and preservation of these cultural landmarks.
– The office space in this attractive and unique location, bordered by Mihajla Pupina Blvd on the east side and Narodnih Heroja Street, Zeleznicka Street and the Newlyweds Square on the west side, with an exit to the Galleries Square and Vase Stajica Street on the east side, will provide a perfect option for businessmen – the company says.
