Twelve investments and investment ideas that drew greatest attention of users of eKapija during first five months of year 2009
On Wednesday, June 23, 2009, on the closing day of the 2nd REBEC 2009 (www.rebec.rs), eKapija's investment team presented the Retrospective of investments and investment ideas that marked year 2008 (www.ekapija.com/inovesto), as well as those real estate projects that, based on the interest expressed by eKapija's users, marked the beginning of this year.
What surprised all the present, as well as eKapija's team, is the fact that the list for year 2009 does not reflect the crisis. The conclusion is that attractive projects are still being launched and that there is, still, plenty of courage and optimism. The second good news is that Belgrade is not in the focus of investments anymore, but the rest of Serbia.

SHOPPING MALL UŠĆE – expected project on this list, of which glamurous and commercial life started in March 2009. The largest trade center in the region, with the surface of 130,000 square meters. Total of 150m EUR have been invested in this shopping mall with 1,200 employees….
CARGO CENTER AT AIRPORT KONSTANTIN VELIKI IN NIŠ – the project that expects few more "green lights" in order to start shining as a great investment star in the south of Serbia
TENNIS CENTER IN DORĆOL FOR SERBIA OPEN – a beautiful fairytale, which was tiurned into seven days of genuine enjoyment in Belgrade. Serbia obtained another five tennis courts in sports-recreation center "Milan Gale Muškatirović" with four stands that can hold 7,000 spectators. According to the plan, the complex should comprise total of 10 courts. Also, a two-storey restaurant with the view of all courts has been built next to the central stadium…
VIG AND MAXIMA CENTER IN NEW BELGRADE - These complexes are situated in the central zone of New Belgrade, within Block 11a, between Mihaila Pupina Boulevard, Trešnjinog Cveta Street, Nikole Tesle Boulevard and Aleksinačkih Rudara Street. The complex is made of two units - business facility VIG PLAZA and residential-business facility MAXIMA CENTER. This zone, future Hotel, Enjub, NLB, Mercator … impose the question – what will be the future downtown of New Belgrade?
PARK CITY/LIMAN CITY NOVI SAD – Elite complex worth 45m EUR at 45,000 square meters in Novi Sad, in settlement Liman. The investor is Dutch company "Vondel Capital" with the headquarters in Amsterdam. Complex "Park City" is being built according to the architectural solution designed by "Biro M+“ from Novi Sad, which won prestigious architectural award "Ranko Radović" in 2007.
KOPAONIK LISINA - Novi Sad-based company "A Gradnja-invest" is building this attractive tourist complex at about 100,000 square meters in the location of Glog, which will, once it is completely finished, include about 2,400 luxury suites, over 5,000 beds and all accompanying contents.
HOTEL COMPLEX “RUŽA VETROVA” ZLATIBOR – Thanks to specific and unique "wind rose" over Zlatibor mountain, where Mediterranean and continental climates meet, and the fact that exclusively organically produced food will be served in it, future "Healthy Life Center", the hotel with 5 stars, will be unique complex in Europe.
WELLNES HOTEL IN NIŠKA BANJA – future tourist pearl of the south of Serbia, the facility that will be situated in the center of one of the spa resorts with the largest number of visitors in Serbia, and it will be formed by the model of Wellness hotel. In addition, hotel infrastructure will be designed to use SPA potentials of Niška Banje spa resort to the maximum, especially the advantages of famous thermal water. The hotel should have four stars. International certification for Wellness hotel and Eco-hotel is in the pipeline, and this facility will be the first in the region to implement requests for these certificates in the phase of construction.
TC "TROŠARINA" - Investment by "Verano Group", which will be launched at the end of year 2009. It will include numerous retail facilities at the surface of 73,000 square meters, as well as multiplex cinema with six halls, bawling rooms, billiard room, Internet cafe, fitness and wellness center, as well as outdoor food court.
