hiCAD brings the latest achievements from BIM technologies
As a general representative of Archicad and software companies close to Graphisoft, hiCAD brings the latest achievements from BIM technologies to Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.
Graphisoft released Archicad 28 in October, with new functionality not only for Archicad, but also for BIMx and DDScad.
Keynotes are new in Archicad 28. They enhance the documentation workflow with an automated database-driven documentation and annotation system that integrates specifications and legends. This integrated solution eliminates the need for workarounds when consistent annotations are required across the entire documentation set.
The Rhino-Grasshopper-Archicad link has been improved, evaluating design variations more quickly with a built-in hotlink module and extended support for beam and columns.
Archicad AI Visualizer is now cloud-based, providing instant access with no desktop installation required and with "far faster" rendering times.
BIMmTool, meanwhile, has improved point cloud capabilities, meaning large datasets can be managed more quickly.
In addition to dozens of different communication formats, it fully supports the latest IFC, BCF, SAF formats and is compatible with all major CAD packages on the market. It belongs to the OPEN BIM class of software and is the leader in BIM technology.
BIMx
New in BIMx is Anti-aliasing in 3D, which improves the visualization of 3D models with smoother and more refined edges. Elements can be shown or hidden individually or in groups. Users can simplify the design review process by jumping into context to another 3D model, such as a design option, renovation or structure view. BIMx now also supports Apple Vision Pro, "offering an immersive 3D experience that revolutionizes project stakeholder engagement."
DDScad
The latest version of DDScad enables engineers to design sustainable building systems using workflows tailored for MEP experts. DDScad`s enhanced photovoltaic system design options "empower electrical engineers to create a cleaner, greener future. The updated DIALux evo-DDScad electrical interface enables engineers to design state-of-the-art lighting systems.
